You approach the strange paper-humanoid by the fireplace. It seems to be somewhat akin to a cardboard cutout, but you swear when you're not looking directly at its face that it blinks occasionally. It's a wonder how it hasn't caught alight with how close to the fireplace it is.
Now that you're this close, you notice there's also a toothbrush on the mantle... weird place for that.
